On April 9, 2026, while visiting Mount Magnet (approximately 600 km from Perth), Liu Nan was involved in a serious car accident. The vehicle rolled over, and he was urgently airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for emergency treatment.

His injuries include:

• Multiple fractures to the cervical and thoracic spine

• Left orbital blowout fracture

• Bilateral lung contusions

• Multiple injuries throughout his body
